Right to information
The reporting platform presented herein, in which the administrative person responsible for reports identified above acts as the data controller, was designed and built to ensure the anonymity and confidentiality of communications. If you wish, you may complete the optional fields “Name”, “Telephone” and “Email”, thereby identifying yourself to the reporting manager.
If you choose to identify yourself, you must use the contact methods available on this platform to obtain and complete the declaration authorising the processing of your data. The processing is based on your consent, under Article 6(1)(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU Regulation 679/2016).
Your personal data will be retained until the purpose of the processing has been fulfilled — the management of reports — which should occur within a maximum period of three months after the report, as well as for the required minimum five-year archiving period. Due to the complexity of the subject matter of the report, the investigation of all the circumstances surrounding it or the specific follow-up to be given, this maximum period may need to be extended. In such cases, the personal data will be retained for as long as the investigation and follow-up continue. If your personal data are not considered relevant to the processing of the report, they may be deleted, in accordance with Article 19(2) of Law No. 93/2021.
The platform supporting the reporting channel is operated by GoFox – Tecnologias de Informação Unipessoal, Lda., which therefore acts as the portal’s technical support provider and, consequently, as the data processor in relation to the entity presented herein.
The personal data you provide through this channel may also be shared with the competent authorities, such as law enforcement agencies, the Public Prosecutor’s Office, the courts, Banco de Portugal or independent administrative authorities, in order to follow up on the subject matter of the report, where it is considered that there are grounds justifying the intervention of such authorities and external entities.
If you believe that any rights relating to the protection of your personal data have been violated, you should use the available contact methods to forward the matter to the Data Protection Officer of the entity presented herein, where applicable. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese Data Protection Authority.
